Copper and brass yad by artist Yury's Anthology

This yad is made of copper and brass and designed by Yury's Anthology. About the artist: YURY KORETSKY Growing up in the former Soviet Ukraine money and toys were scarce. So, as a young boy Yury used to whittle his own toys out of wood. His artistic skills were further honed at collegiate level where Yury double majored in art and biology. The chosen profession for that type skill in the former communist nation was a commercial artist. Yury and his family immigrated to the United States in the early 90's. There he began a carrier as a Head Designer with Gary Rosenthal Collection. These days, Yury personally designs all his sculptures by employing various techniques that involve the intricate process of combining cooper, brass, and steel with fused glass and pearl accents. Unlike his counterparts, all work is hand made by Yury himself. His sculpture design can be located in private collections, and museum shops such as Virginia Holocaust Museum and The Jewish Museum. Pieces from his current collection can be found throughout the world in many fine galleries. Yury has launched several years ago his new company with superior innovative pieces.
